CS3 Singles Ministry
singles@stmattbc.org
The Singles Life group currently meets on Saturdays…. Check the church calendar of upcoming events for singles related events.
Many people in this day find themselves single for one reason or another. This can sometimes be for a relatively brief season before marriage, after the heartbreaking result of a divorce or death, or as a result of a life long decision. Regarding this, consider:
“I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs - how he can please the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 7:32
Singles are an extremely valuable resource in the sight of God, in a unique way; singles can focus on the things of God without the standard distractions encountered by those who are married. When single Christians commit to focusing on the things of God, seeking His kingdom first, not only will this result in a dynamite Christian, but this person will also be a great candidate for marriage because they have taken the time to develop properly in their walk with God.
Singles Life is to help focus on this season of life as an opportunity to
challenge, and help one another to grow in service and relationship with the Lord and fellow believers
In other words, single adults are welcomed and encouraged to be a vital and enriching part of the church family.
Missions Ministry
mission@stmattbc.org
Answering the call to missions may take you across the sea or across the street. It could take you to faraway nations or to your own neighborhood. We encounter people every day who need to hear the good news of the Gospel.
St. Matthew’s Missions Ministry involves the St. Matthew family sharing the Gospel within our own city—sharing with people who, for whatever reason, will probably never come to our church facility. Our Missions Ministry provides a variety of activities in our community (through many means) which includes but is not limited to Vacation Bible Schools, prison ministries, and Bible studies for the sick and home bound as well as those in retirement homes to involve St. Matthew members in impacting our city. These activities become the foundation for building relationships and sharing Christ’s love with our Corpus neighbors. For more information, call …
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Brotherhood Union
brotherhood@stmattbc.org
The objective of the Brotherhood Union of St. Matthew Baptist Church is to lead men to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. This Ministry is designed to help men to become godly leaders in the home, church, workplace, and neighborhood. The Brotherhood Union’s approach involves creating opportunities for fellowship and friendship with other Men, leading to a strong relationship that allows Men to Praise and Rebuke each other, which ultimately leads each Man to a closer relationship with God. Men of all ages learn to serve the church, the community, and one another.
“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christi.” 1 John 1:3

Youth and Children’s Church
children@stmattbc.org jam@stmattbc.org youth@stmattbc.org
Youth Church, known as "Jesus And Me" (JAM) is a spirit filled service that is held on on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays while the adults are attending the morning worship service.
Also , we have a qualified staff prepared to minister to your children and youth at their age level. Classes are provided for all ages and children are invited to join in on classes geared to their level of learning.
Children are precious at St Matthew. Taking to heart Jesus’ own love for children, St. Matthew seeks to provide a comprehensive, caring ministry to children and their parents. Through a broad range of programming, children experience acceptance, engage in learning, enjoy themselves, and express their faith. The benefits of Children’s Church will be seen as these children grow and become a part of the adult service. We welcome you to join us as we learn to worship!
Our nursery staff is well-qualified and your babies will be well cared for as you attend services.
“Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14
